Current endeavors

Enhancing healthcare facilities by facilitating the provision of essential medical equipment for the District Hospital in Tenali.

MR Future Foundation is dedicated to enhancing healthcare facilities by facilitating the provision of essential medical equipment for the District Hospital in Tenali. Following a thorough needs assessment conducted in collaboration with BEL, it has been identified that the hospital requires support valued at approximately ₹5 crores. The team at BEL has recognized the importance and feasibility of the project based on the need’s assessment, and the project approval is currently pending from the BEL CSR Committee to take the next steps. We look forward to making a significant impact on healthcare services in our community through this initiative.

Strengthening Healthcare Infrastructure (1000 Primay Health Centres)

MR Future Foundation is dedicated to enhancing healthcare by strengthening the capacity of Primary Health Centres (PHCs), which are vital to India’s healthcare infrastructure. PHCs serve as the first point of contact for essential medical services, particularly in rural and underserved regions, thereby reducing the need for patients to travel long distances to tertiary hospitals.

These centres provide a comprehensive range of essential services, including antenatal and postnatal care, routine diagnostic tests, treatment for common ailments, preventive health programs, and family planning services. By fortifying PHCs, we aim to significantly improve health outcomes, promote health equity, and bridge the gap in healthcare access between urban and rural populations.

Over the period from 2024 to 2026, MR Future Foundation is committed to supporting and strengthening 1,000 PHCs. We have successfully completed needs assessments for 150 PHCs, with an additional 100 assessments currently in progress. The estimated financial requirement for this initiative is approximately ₹100 crore, aimed at equipping these PHCs with essential medical equipment and necessary furniture.

Disaster Preparedness Workshops

In addition to our healthcare initiatives, we propose conducting 500 workshops over a 24-month period, targeting 100,000 high school students. These workshops will address a wide range of topics, including:

  • Pre-Disaster Preparedness: Risk awareness and safety protocols
  • Response During Disasters: Evacuation procedures and first aid training
  • Post-Disaster Recovery: Mental health support and rebuilding efforts

By focusing on youth, we aim to create a multiplier effect, empowering trained students to become advocates and first responders for disaster preparedness within their schools, homes, and communities. Through these initiatives, MR Future Foundation is committed to fostering a safer and healthier future for all.

Past Accomplishments

Prior to the establishment of MR Future Foundation, our team was dedicated to enhancing healthcare infrastructure through strategic collaborations with corporate partners. We conducted comprehensive needs assessments in close coordination with relevant stakeholders, including health department officials, local communities, and medical professionals. This collaborative effort allowed us to identify critical gaps in healthcare services and resources. As a result of these assessments, we successfully facilitated the reinforcement of 43 Primary Health Centres (PHCs) across Andhra Pradesh. Each centre received essential medical equipment and necessary furniture, enabling them to provide improved healthcare services to underserved populations. This initiative not only strengthened the capacity of these PHCs but also ensured that they could deliver vital medical care effectively and efficiently. Our commitment to enhancing healthcare accessibility and quality laid the groundwork for our ongoing mission at MR Future Foundation.

Before the establishment of MR Future Foundation, our team was registered as a Nikshay Mitra, actively participating in the PM TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan program aimed at eradicating tuberculosis in India. In this capacity, we facilitated essential nutritional support to 1,200 TB patients in Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh, recognizing that proper nutrition is critical for recovery and overall health. Our initiative garnered recognition from both the Government of India and the Government of Andhra Pradesh, highlighting the significant impact of our efforts on public health. The Health Department awarded us the Nikshay Mitra certificate of registration, underscoring our commitment to enhancing support for TB patients by providing them with vital resources for their treatment and recovery. Through this collaboration, we not only addressed the immediate nutritional needs of these patients but also played a role in raising awareness about the importance of comprehensive care in combating tuberculosis. Our dedication to improving healthcare outcomes for vulnerable populations laid the groundwork for our ongoing mission at MR Future Foundation, where we continue to prioritize health and well-being in our community initiatives.
